How we share personal information with other Green Halo Systems users

To process your payments, we need to share some of your personal information. We will not disclose your credit card number or bank account number to anyone other than PayPal or if we are required to do so to comply with a subpoena or other legal process as defined in our Criminal and Civil Subpoena Policies.

How we share personal information with other parties

We may share your personal information with:

  • PayPal to provide joint content and services (like registration, transactions and customer support), to help detect and prevent potentially illegal acts and violations of our policies, and to guide decisions about their products, services and communications. Members of our corporate family will use this information to send you marketing communications only if you have requested their services.
  • Service providers under contract who help with parts of our business operations; (fraud prevention, bill collection, marketing, technology services). Our contracts dictate that these service providers only use your information in connection with the services they perform for us and not for their own benefit.
  • Credit bureaus to report account information, as permitted by law.
  • Banking partners as required by credit card association rules for inclusion on their list of terminated merchants (in the event that you meet their criteria which includes having Green Halo Systems close your Green Halo Systems Account due to your breach of the Green Halo Systems User Agreement).
  • Companies that we plan to merge with or be acquired by. (Should such a combination occur, we will require that the new combined entity follow this privacy policy with respect to your personal information. If your personal information could be used contrary to this policy, you will receive prior notice.)
  • Law enforcement, government officials, or other third parties when
    • we are compelled to do so by a subpoena, court order or similar legal procedure
    • we need to do so to comply with law
    • we believe in good faith that the disclosure of personal information is necessary to prevent physical harm or financial loss, to report suspected illegal activity, or to investigate violations of our User Agreement.

Green Halo Systems will not sell or rent any of your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes and only shares your personal information with third parties as described in this policy.

Permission Policy

Green Halo Systems is providing information and services online as a benefit and service in for all users. Unless otherwise noted, Users may reproduce and distribute the information and data as made available to the users (with the exception of some graphics) from the Green Halo Systems web site without written permission. Any other organization or person may not duplicate this information or data without written permission. Green Halo Systems does not exert editorial control over materials that are posted by third parties onto this web site or materials that are e-mailed by third parties to any other. Green Halo Systems specifically disclaims any and all liability for any claims or damages which result from any postings by third parties. Although the Green Halo Systems site may includes links providing direct access to other Internet sites, Green Halo Systems has not participated in development of those sites, and does not exert any editorial or other control over those sites.

Green Halo Systems Civil Subpoena Policy

Green Halo Systems does not release personally identifying information about our customers except in limited instances related to law, security, or safety, or with a customer's express permission.

To request customer information from Green Halo Systems in a civil case, you must serve Green Halo Systems at the address listed below with a valid subpoena or court order and agree to compensate Green Halo Systems for Green Halo Systems's subpoena response services. Prior to responding, Green Halo Systems may require you to provide a copy of the complaint or other supporting documentation to demonstrate the materiality of the information requested.

In response to a valid civil subpoena, it is Green Halo Systems's policy to notify the customer of the civil request for their information. In non-emergency situations, Green Halo Systems will generally respond after approximately fifteen (15) days, unless the customer presents Green Halo Systems with notice of having filed a motion to quash the subpoena or having sought similar protection from a court. Green Halo Systems reserves the right to object to the subpoena on any applicable grounds.

If you are seeking information regarding a customer, please provide as much of the following as possible: customer name, company name, account number, email address, mailing address, and telephone number. Please note that, regarding requests for customer information, Green Halo Systems does not retain such information indefinitely.

Green Halo Systems does not typically retain certain information such as outgoing email, downloaded email, or Web/chat logs. Please be advised that the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, 18 U.S.C. 2701 et seq., prohibits an electronic communications service provider, such as Green Halo Systems, from producing the contents of an electronic communication, even pursuant to subpoena or court order, except in limited circumstances.

Send all subpoenas and court orders seeking customer information only via U.S. certified mail, Airborne Express, UPS, or Federal Express to:

For its subpoena response services, Green Halo Systems charges $75.00 per hour for research, $0.25 per page for copies, and $22.00 per package to respond by overnight delivery. Additional charges may apply for requests involving voluminous information or other time or cost intensive requests. Invoices should be paid within 30 days of receipt, with checks must be made out to Green Halo Systems, Inc.

Green Halo Systems reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion the applicability of this policy to any particular request and this policy does not create any enforceable legal rights, either for Green Halo Systems customers or for requesting parties.

Green Halo Systems Criminal Subpoena Policy

Green Halo Systems does not release personally identifying information about our customers except in limited instances related to law, security, or safety, or with a customer's express permission.
